Oh, it also turns out the rommate was supposed to go get the gun from the woods after the shooting, which answers one question I had about this. It was still a foolish plan; he got the gun that far and dumping it near the scene of the crime was not smart at all.

Will wonders never cease? I'm beginning to think that trannies are dangerous and should be arrested and jailed whenever encountered.
