Tomorrow we get hit by a big solar storm. Wired makes the case that such an event could be catastrophic for the internet.

Last night I was having trouble with the phones - and my father and brother both were also. The storm probably was screwing up the satellites. But I suspect that was all that we'd see or will see.

We DID have major rain and wind storms last night, with a lot of trees downed in some local towns. The wind just turned over a couple of our deck chairs -- which are those cheap plastic things.
