Take away a country's literature, its art, its history, and you erase that country. The Muslims did that on a regular basis when they took power in diverse places. And the Left is trying to erase us, and replace our culture with one of their own creation. It's going to work, too, as the young will grow up with no exposure to our culture and a media and educational system promoting modern leftist ideology.

OMG! These people are supposed to be educators!
By the time I was in fifth grade I'd read The Odyssey (my grandmother had it in paperback and I borrowed it, and still have it) and The Iliad, and when I got to 9th grade we read The Iliad (again for me) as a class assignment.

Yep. That is basic education Dana. Everyone should read them.
The word educator is a huge misnomer Mike, especially in this case. Maleducator is more the word.
