2 Perhaps Dana, but why now? There are far bigger fish to fry. And this will be used against them. People already think Tennessee and Arkansas are full of ignorant toothless hillbillies, and this only strengthens the accusation against Republicans.

It is not something that needed doing now.

5 My sister-in-law and her husband currently live in Tennessee, and they're as conservative as you'll find anywhere. I can't see them agreeing to this thing.
