Dana, it looks like they are trying to sweep this story under the rug and let this Somali "model officer" skate when people have had more time to forget the details. Either that or the current officials in charge are looking for a way to pass the buck onto someone else.
This from Dana:
This city attorney certainly is no great shakes! "Friend Ken" said "I never cared for him, or his father either." I don't know if he finally realized he couldn't do it himself, or public opinion finally got too toxic. But now that he's having to turn it over to a grand jury, it means that the killer-cop's partner will have to testify, and that should be interesting. I just can't believe he'll try to shield the other guy -- can't believe there's any real "partner feeling" there.
