Johnson Restores Flags to Full Staff

Joe Biden ordered flags be flown at half staff on Trump's inauguration, ostensibly in honor of President Jimmy Carter, who recently passed away.
Mike Johnson showed a little backbone finally and ordered them flown at full staff over the Capitol, of which he is in charge.
Good for him. But I still trust him about as far as I can toss him.
If I were Speaker I'd order extenders to put on top of the Capitol flagpoles and make the flags fly even higher than normal! But this is the best we can get, I suppose.

To clarify matters, the flags will fly at half-staff except for the time of the Inauguration. Then down they come again.
When I see flags at half-staff I can't help thinking that we're mourning for the fact that Carter ever WAS president, considering how bad he was.
