The author lost me in the first paragraph when she said "It is worth thinking today about..." how he might have done any damn thing he wanted to do. In other words, the author is second-guessing Lincoln, which is always a dangerous thing to do when dealing with an intelligent person and a complex subject.
In short, I for one regard this article as a waste of time and think Forbes shouldn't have wasted the print inches to present it.
