Amazing; an Illinois man was charged with murder for slipping his girlfriend an abortion pill without her knowledge.
Emerson Evans didn't want the child he sired and his girlfriend did, so he "made the decision for her" as he told police.
Had she made the decision herself there would have been no charges filed. Remember, this is in deep blue Illinois.
So how is it a human life now but not when a woman decides she doesn't want it? At worst, using their reasoning, he should have been charged with stealing under $150, or perhaps malicious vandalism.
It's either a life or it isn't. The Left wants to have it both ways.

Another point to ponder; what gives a woman the right to make that decision alone? She will not only have the power to decide this child will be born and he has none, but also she will then be able to milk him for support for the next 18 to 24 years. And she can abort it without his say-so. So it's a baby when she wants it but not if she doesn't. The point is the double standard involved. (Personally I think there is every reason to hold the guy accountable but on the other hand it isn't 1790 where women have to be cared for by a man or a male relative and women have children - and raise them - all the time without any input from men.
Our system is hopelessly antiquated and assumes women are helpfless. Now I think any man who does not take care of the fruits of his loins is a pos and no man at all, but I also think he should have some say in the matter. He gets none on the the same theory that allows for abortion in the first place "it's her body" which is nonsense; it's half HIS body yet he has no say. Fathers are equally important, or should be.
