Israeli strike targets Hamas leadership in Qatar
The poop's really going to hit the fan now.
Qatar has been harboring Hamas for a long time now and as such is engaged in an act of war against Israel. But the Arab world won't care about that; they will blame Israel nonetheless.
This could turn Saudi Arabia and Turkey against Israel (well, Turkey was already turned). There is every reason to think this could be the start of a larger regional war. And with the Russia/ukraine war raging it could mean world war.
This is a time for prayer.

Yes it is. Mr. Trump is unhappy about this turn of events, but I'm sure that he understands that it had to happen. Mr. Netanyahu is not going to sit on his buns and just let Hamas "do their thing" while Israel does nothing. I think the best thing for Trump to do is shrug his shoulders and say, in effect, "Hey, don't blame ME!"

I agree on all points Dana. It had to happen. Trump is best served just getting out of the way.
