...Something else COVID ritual and immigrationism share, interestingly, is that they both serve to atomize the West. Migration of unassimilable peoples does this by dividing us demographically , while lockdowns do so by dividing Westerners from each other. Both reduce national cohesion.

It’s germaphobia and xenophilia — two misguided passions and a deadly combination.
