Is AI a bubble? At least one billionaire thinks so.
I think so too, but I've been wrong about high tech a number of times.
Ray Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater Associates, warns this is starting to look like a classic bubble with so many corporations pouring vast sums of money into AI.
As Dalio points out, the vast expansion is being financed by debt. So this thing is blowing up like a balloon.
If AI crashes and burns it will hurt the U.S. Economy, but what will it do to China? They put all their chips on it.
This whole business about regulating AI and keeping data centers out of our neighborhoods may be moot.

Everyone is worried about artificial intelligence; meanwhile, natural stupidity is out here thriving. From the website The view from Lady Lake and this shoe fits perfectly.
