Irony is Lost

So, after looting and burning down grocery stores in their own neighborhoods they now seize a Trader Joes to "protest" lack of grocery store access in their own neighborhoods. Irony is completely lost on these people.

1 For some strange reason, the so-called thinking behind this reminds me of the (perhaps apocryphal) story of the kid who kills his parents, then throws himself on the mercy of the court, on the grounds that he's an orphan.

2 I remember people saying that when the Menendez brothes murdered their parents; a woman interviewed on television said "it's so sad; they are going through this tough time without their parents"! Kind of makes you despair of human intelligence.

Maybe the world SHOULD be ruled by damned dirty apes after all.
