No doubt this is an attempt to get the public on their side, and maybe convince Trump to negotiate. Neither will happen at this point.

Like so many other stories that is what this is. The two Iranians I listen too have said nothing about this. If it was true they would have reported it and added videos. They have sources inside Iran.

Well, every little bit helps. One thing for certain: the Iran we saw last week is different from the Iran we'll eventually end up with. The Lord bless and protect the Iranian people!

Mike they did report it or I wouldn't have seen it. But the media probably doesn't want to report this because it shows Trump's efforts are working plus it shows that they WERE holding political prisoners in Iran. The media has a reason to not promote either.
The Administration would be reluctant to report this too because it would strengthen the hand of people in Congress who want a cessation of hostilities.
But you are correct; it's not happening on a large scale yet.
Amen So true Dana.

The problem is the report originated from Iran's propaganda ministry. These are the same people using schools and hospitals to hide from air strikes. What better place to hide then a prison full of political prisoners who are now hostages? These are also the very same people who could care less about human rights.
