In some good news the House of Representatives voted Wednesday for a bill that made concealed carry permits valid in all states. Under current laws, a concealed carry holder may be arrested in another state if he or she is in possession of a firearm and they do not have a CC permit in that state.

Tthe House passed the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, 231-198. Six Democrats voted in favor while no less than 14 Republicans voted no. Those GOP no votes need to be targeted in upcoming elections during the primaries.

In typical fashion Nancy Pelosi, the San Francisco Bleat,tweeted out the coming doomsday:
I"nviting violent criminals to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives. Inviting domestic abusers to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives. Inviting convicted stalkers to carry concealed weapons doesn’t save lives. Yet the @HouseGOP just voted to do exactly that #StopCCR"

nooooo - the rest of the gun laws still apply. National Concealed Carry doesn't override existing law. It just says if you're legal in one place, you're legal in others too. You still have to meet the requirements.

Ms. Pelosi, you are a lawmaker with national influence. You are supposed to know what the existing law already is. It is clear from your Tweet today you do not know what the law is. I feel surreal saying this to a member of Congress, but.... Learn what the law is, please.

Look, laws are not supposed to make criminals of people who have done everything they knowingly can to abide by the law. New York State, for instance makes terrorists of gun owners who do not know there is no reciprocity law allowing them to bring their guns into the state.

Now this will move on to the Senate, which should be a harder sell. One thing, though; Roy Moore certainly will back it.
