Kathy Hochul Will Not Remove Eric Adams From Office
She says instead she wants to impose "guardrails" on Adams to make sure he doesn't go corrupting.
Among her proposed "guardrails" are:
So,it's all about money and using New York taxpayer dollars to go after the Trump Administration as well as hamsttring the operations of the city.
I ask again; why didn't this get referred to Letitia James for prosecution under state law? I mean there ARE laws against corruption in New York, are thee not?
If she tries this Adams should sue Hochul, as should the Trump Administration.
You do notice these "guardrails" have little to do witth actual corruption and everything to do with politics and spending money.
This is a power grab by Hochul. It's time for Congress and the DOJ to start looking into the New York Governor, who I am certain has some seri

"Among the steps Hochul is set to announce are the creation of a new state deputy inspector general dedicated to just New York City; creating a fund for the City Council speaker, city comptroller, and public advocate to hire outside counsel to sue the Trump administration if Adams declines to do so; granting additional funds for the state’s comptroller to investigate city finances; and impose a rule barring the mayor from hiring the head of the city’s Department of Investigation without approval of the state inspector general."
