Hating Russians, Letting Them in Illegally

After the attack on the World Trade Center the left-wing media went bananas to prevent abuse of Islamic-Americans. There were dire predictions that right wing nazi skinhead klansmen would be crawling out of the woodwork to hurt the good, honest, upstanding Muslim citizens of these United States.
It didn't happen, or very rarely at any rate, but it was the mantra and we were told how this wasn't a war against Islam but against "international terrorism."
So where are all the civil libertarians now? Russians seem to be the new class that it is o.k. to discriminate against.
Certainly this historic Russian tea room in New York is suffering because of Mr. Putin and the American' media's hysterical response.

I did a search looking for assaults on Russian immigrants. I found no stories, which itself is odd as on any given day any number of people are assaulted and Russians would logically be in harms way as a result of this. But not one single news story.
That suggests to me this IS happening, and to a much larger extent than we would suppose.
I know it's circular reasoning to a degree, but if you understand the media you have to know this is how they roll. There were few assaults on Muslims after 911 but the media was full of stories about them anyway. And of course the attacks on Chinese immigrants was given major coverage - even though most of the assailants were African American. The race of the assailants was rarely given in the news stories so as to suggest white racists were out and about and to justify draconian laws to circumvent free speech rights.
The silence on this tells me we are probably seeing Russians being assaulted. And no doubt their businesses are being at minimum boycotted.
While we are on the matter, I would like to submit this for your consideration; Russia has been filtering thousands of her own citizens into the U.S. through the porous southern border during Mr. Biden's first year. Border Patrol agents arrested 4100 Russians coming into the U.S. illegally. How many more got through? And why were RUSSIANS entering the U.S.?
Does something stink about all this?

Putin has used sleeper agents in the past, most notably in Georgia.
Was he preparing for this invasion all along? And what will these Russians do if the SHTF?
Biden opened America to an invasion and now we are faced with a real possibility of terrorist attacks from Russian Spetznast or the like.
They could do a huge amount of damage.
So Russian tea rooms and ordinary citizens are being harassed while possible Russian special forces are roaming around free in America.

I think your reaching. The issue more is about human trafficking worldwide. That these Russians were trying to cross our porous southern border shows that they know once your toe is in your all in.I believe further investigation would show traffickers involvement. Face it these White Russians arent exactly who the left wants into our country so their immigration status would be bottom of list if they werent instantly deported due to skin color.
Besides Tim, hackers in their parents basements would do more widespread damage then isolated attacks.

Sorry, Mike, but I'm agreeing with Tim on this one. This has, of course, nothing to do with color, rather with culture. I think we could stand a few Ukrainian immigrants, but I'd be as suspicious about Russians as I am about Muslims -- they don't wish us well!

What I am saying 10 people at computers in Russia can do more damage then 1000 or more on the ground. A computer attack on our financial system that could cause a total shutdown would do more damage then 1000 bombs planted in banks.Face it all our computer systems are vulnerable no matter what safe guards are in place.
There are people born and raised in this country that dont wish us well. See the price of gas lately? Been grocery shopping. Tell me the people that are causing this wish us well. BTW I remember that movie when Russian sleepers went rogue and the g-men tracked them. That was a good propaganda flick.

Mike, the problem with your thinking is that it requires a one and only one approach. The Russians would not just hack us . Any competent military guy would not rely solely on that.
And how much easier would it be to hack us - and to acquire intel, and to steal our technology, by having people here on the ground rather than sitting in a center in Moscow?
I would add human trafficking is largely an Albanian Mafia thing, moreso than a Russian (although the Russians are doing it, no question.)

And the problem you have is proof. Just because the ICE caught illegal Russian immigrants doesnt make them sleepers. Did ICE or the FBI do any investigation into who these Russians really were? Probably not because thanks to the democrats they like so many of our own criminals are catch and release. ICE catches illegal Chinese immigrants as well. Does that make them sleepers. I agree with Dana on the muslims only because they have a strange desire to blow themselves and others up.
No Tim, from reading I think Putins long range goal is closer to home and one that is making Ukraines ports more valuable. He has his sites on Turkey and complete control of the Black Sea. Turkey has recently made the decision to move from gas and oil to LNG. Currently Turkey is getting that LNG from the states.Russia produces LNG. Undercut US prices and make Turkey energy dependent on cheap Russian LNG and the noose is around Turkeys neck. No more NATO member in your back yard.

Mike, I can't disagree with much of your reasoning in that last comment. Putin DOES want to dominate his region. He wants the U.S. out of the old Warsaw Pact countries. He wants us out of Turkey and the Caucasus. But to do that he has to be in a position to take the U.S. on, which is tricky. He undoubtedly knows he can't win in a direct military conflict, nor indirectly via economic pressure. So how do you handle that? Through black ops. Sow discord in the country. Promote chaos. Take steps to wreck the financial system.
In other words, do what we saw in the last few years in America. Promote racial strife, discord, and hatred. That requires people here to stir the pot. It's hard to do that from long-range.

It's harder to push the idea of "Russian-hating" as opposed to "Islamophobia," because it's easier to identify a Muslim than a Russian on the street -- at least, a Muslim woman. How do you identify a Russian?

Good point Dana. And Russians are "white" as opposed to Muslims, who are often "brown" or "people of color" as the modern parlance goes. They don't care about white people getting beat up so much.
