1 I admit I didn't read this story, but from Election Night returns I'm darn sure recounts will not change the results; the Trumpster nailed it in the Electoral College fair and square, and took the popular vote with him for good measure.

2 You're right Dana; there is no way to wrestle this away from Trump.

What the Democrats desperately want is to declare Harris the winner in the popular vote. That's why they keep counting on the West Coast, and Trump's lead was cut in half (from five million to two and a half). If they could claim Harris won the popular vote they could justify "RESIST!" again. They need to have something to hang their hats on.

3 Oh, also a recount could allow them to wrestle some down-ballot seats too.
