Ever notice how the few liberals who do leave the U.S. (most of them vow to but never do) go to places like France or Greece? They never immigrate to socialist countries, despite their profession of love for them. Why not? Because they don't offer the amenities they enjoy. It's rank hypocrisy.

They never move to Russia, or any other former Soviet Republic. They don't go to Cuba or Venezuela. They aren't about to move to Zimbabwe or North Korea. No; they go to these lovely European places or to the nicer tropical islands.
At least we are rid of these two stooges, even if temporarily. Buh-bye!

Hmmmm... It talks about "honorary naturalization." And then they came back to California. I'm not sure just how serious they are about the totalitarity of their new Greekiness. In fact, I'm not sure just how serious the Greek Prime Minister is, either. These are Hollywood hoi-polloi, and the gal is part Greek. If it were you or me, and our wives, it'd be a different matter, I'll betcha.
However, I must admit the food is nice in Greece, especially if you're into seafood and spices.

I know; they aren't going to live there, just like all Hollywood lefties. It's just fun and games.
I wish they WOULD move there. So few of those types ever do.
BTW, I like lamb and some of their dishes but, being a hater of olives in all forms, I just not that into Greek food. I figure why go Greek when you can have Italian!

WHAT! You hate olives? I'm going to have to seriously rethink our friendship here. . . Migod, man, in one fell swoop (or is that one swell foop) you've invalidated martinis. And you'd have pushed away your plate of Mediterranean chicken at our table a couple of nights ago, that featured Kalamata olives, which are important in a number of our featured dishes (they are the foundation of the tapenade that goes with our Black Jack burgers). I'm always at pains to get them in our supermarket because they stock the damn things on the top shelf (I'm 5'2") and half the time they only have the unpitted variety.

Cathy really likes olives, and drinks martinis (well, when she used to drink). I can stomach a martini as long as they use a twist of lime rather than olives.
Actually, I'll eat olives in dishes as long as they aren't slathered on. As I always say, I don't eat with my brain and if I like it I like it. It's just that I don't like them that much. Oh, and I'll eat olive oil all day long! It's odd; I like olive oil but hate olives! But then, I don't drink milk because I don't like it but drown cereal in milk and love all dairy products. Go figure.
At any rate, I will maintain a truce with you and all other olive eating hooligans!
