Forty six percent of likely voters support tariffs against Mexico to force them to do a better job keeping illegal aliens out and to stop the importation of drugs.

Forty six percent of likely voters support tariffs against Mexico to force them to do a better job keeping illegal aliens out and to stop the importation of drugs.
According to the Rassmussen Report:
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters favor the use of U.S. tariffs on Mexican goods to force Mexico to strengthen its efforts to stop illegal immigration and illegal drugs from entering this country. Forty percent (40%) oppose the president’s tariff strategy, while 14% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on June 3-4, 2019 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.
