Hair We Go Again; Global Warming Turns Rivers Orange; Trump, CO2 to Blame

Timothy Birdnow

I didn't know Trump was in Alaska recently. I guess he had to wash his hair....

Scientists Sound Alarm: Why Are Rivers in Alaska Turning Orange?

This article blames it on melting permafrost (caused, of course, by anthropogenic global warming) but it is just as likely it's a coefficient of volcanic activity in Alaska, one of America's most volcanic states. Rivers have turned red or orange in other places in bygone days and it has always been because of volcanic activity. But nobody is supposed to admit there can be any other cause except an increase of less than one molecule of carbon dioxide in every ten thousand molecules of air.

It's like the old days when everything was blamed on the Devil or witchcraft. Only now the Devil is carbon dioxide. And the solution is to do penance and give alms in both cases.

May as well blame it on Trump.

1 Alaska, huh? Exhaust from all those SU... Oops, snowmobiles is what it is, fer sherr. Need to scrap them and start harnessing the moose and polar bears instead.

2 The latest climate change fad is that the Gulf Stream is going to quit flowing, which will profoundly change life on Earth as we know it. The only effect that seems to be consensus is that Europe will get a lot colder, which strikes me as somewhat counter to the "Earth is getting hotter" panic, but logic has never been part of this "climate change" thing.

4 Yeaah Bill, I've heard that moldy oldie a lot lately. They used to use that one back in the nineties and it fell flat so they tucked it away to wait for it to be fresh again. But it's still just a flight of fancy.

I agree; it's silly to say it's going to get really cold from a warming planet. Haven't these idiots ever drank a cup of tea, or ate a bowl of soup? You say "hotten my cup" when your coffee is getting low and then someone adds some more and it's warm again. NOT cold.
