You need to hit' 'enter' after your links - we cannot read and link to them otherwise. And they are good.

Other site editors are posting what I send them, and they don't take the time to make the links "live." Sorry. I've remonstrated with them about it in the past, but. . .

Well, the fault is ultimately mine. This hosting platform uses bbl codes rather than html codes, and I fear I'm the only person to know them here. But given the amount of time I already have to devote to this site for no money, and given our small readership, I would rather put out a "raw" product with great content than a meager, polished one. As things stand, I fear neither matters all that much as The Aviary gets meager traffic on the whole. We get some influential, smart people but not a lot of the average Joe.
Carol, I'll try to see what I can do about getting these links clickable in the future, but please bear with us. Editing is a big problem with such a small website.

I will shoulder blame too, because I should take care of posting my own articles rather than just sending them to Tim. I know how, and I'm a "stickler" for live links. I've just sent Jack instructions on how to make them -- he's working on it. The site has the tools. Once you "break the code" it takes maybe ten seconds to do it.
