One must wonder at "transgenderism" in the animal kingdom. While animals don't wear clothes or makeup so it's harder to tell what "gender" rolls they are playing it is generally possible to see who is male and female. You don't really find male lions hunting with the gals, for instance. You would if "gender" were fluid.

While this paper does not address this issue directly it does analyse the sex differences in mice that are subject to inflammatory damage in vitro and finds the females far less prone to most behavioral changes from the developmental problems created by hypoxia and the like.

So what does that tell us? We all know boys are more likely to get a plethora of issues like Aspbergers and autism as well as ADHD etc. This paper shows that it is sex-selective even in animals and goes back to the very earliest stages of life. So, sex (and gender) are NOT simple social constructs as the looney left is claiming but instead are in fact hard-wired biological imperatives.

"Gender fluidity" is the social construct. In another paper that appeared in the increasingly politicized Nature much was made about female rats being sexually aggressive after receiving hormone treatments.

Gee; like we didn't think of that. The PBS article suggests "gender" is merely a matter of slight chemical differences, but it's not and never will be.

OF COURSE people's behavior will change if their hormones are impacted! That does not make them "transgendered" which is what this article is suggesting.

It's been known for some time that testosterone levels have been dropping in American men and around the world in general, and at the same time we have seen a rise in homosexuality and in "transgenderism" as a result. That shouldn't surprise anyone; the hormones are pushing them - especially young kids - where they shouldn't be sexually. It's also true that children are hitting puberty earlier and earlier. SOMETHING is driving this; possibly a chemical we eat or drink, coupled with a society that has come to value female sexual roles over masculinity.

The point is though that these are still males and females, even the ones who for a time believe they are not.

I've pointed out previously that the number o "lesbians" in the trans community is far, far higher than in the general population and that strongly suggests the trans individuals are in fact still physically male (or female); they just have a desire to apper female (or male).

According to a govt study in Britain the most common sexuality for both trans men and trans women was bisexual or pansexual. About 16% were straight, 20 or so percent gay male (trans men) or lesbians (trans women). The rest were bisexual. That is a shocking depature from the normal crowd, which numberous studies around the globe estimate anywhere from 1.2 to 6.8 percent, depending on who is running the studies. (I believe the 1.2% is the far likelier number, frankly.) That includes the whole "spectrum" - gay, bi, 'pan', 'queer', etc. (Not sure what the difference between pan and bi is, or gay and queer. Medical News Today gives this definition:

"Bisexuality generally refers to people who feel attracted to more than one gender. Pansexuality typically refers to those who feel an attraction to people regardless of gender."

Which is essentially the same thing. And according to Vanderbilt University gay and queer are different because:

'"Gay" refers to men attracted to men, while "queer" encompasses a broader range of sexual orientations, including women, transgender, and asexual.'

Seems to me queer is then simply bisexual, or pansexual. They are creating differnces without distinctions.)

At any rate whatever letter you use in the ever-growing rainbow of sexual deviancy the fact remains that transgendered people are way outside of the norms for their "gender" which should tell us this isn't biological but psychological.
