Pride goeth before a fall, the Bible tells us. It also goeth before a lot of violence as the radical homosexuals grow increasingly full of rage because they no longer swing the big lumber they once did in politics (sorry for the doubel entendre').
Violence, fireworks spark outside St. Louis Pride
The homosexual community has had it all it's own way since the "gay '90's" and are very angry they are not being the beneficiaries of the obsequious slobbering of the media and the government. Now they have what they claimed to always want; they are just like everyone else, and it enrages them. They believed they should be a privilged class.
So a "pride event" over Independence Day turned ugly as the crowd grew unruly and there were fights and fireworks shot into the crowd.
Police blamed the organizers of this "fest" and they are probably right; they did not request any security and they no doubt tried to fire up the crowd.
In the end homosexuality leads to anger and depression (which is anger turned inward) because ultimately the homosexual knows in his or her (or xi or ze or whatever pronoun they prefer) heart that what they are doing is wrong. It's not SOCIETY that makes them unhappy; it's Natural Law. They realize they are violating a fundamental, core principle of our existence. As Christians would say "God's Law", but even an atheist has to aedmit it violates Natural Law, the order imposed by the universe. You have to be a moral relativist, to say there is no right or wrong, to be gay. And with no right or wrong there is nothing but bad things that happen with no meaning, and that would make anyone angry.
I sympathize with gay people; they feel it is right even though it's not and they either will not admit they know it's a bad thing or they are quite naive, but they have urges and desires that will do nothing good for them. In the end it's a lifestyle that brings physical decay (via diseases and drug and alcohol abuse) and is destructive of the spirit. Depression is very common among the LGBTQ crowd, and suicide is one of the biggest killers. They blame it on lack of acceptance, and no doubt that is part, but I would argue ultimately it's because in their heart of hearts they know they are violating a very basic principle. It's like driving the wrong way down a one way street.
As the Bible says "there is a way that seems right to a man that leads to death".(Proverbs 14:12) The gay community feels this is right, and they hold "pride celebrations" to mainstream their lifestyles and to celebrate their problem, but in the end it simply reinforces the thing that is killing them emotionally and physically. And Pride does indeed goeth before a fall.
I think this trouble in The Grove illustraes this perfectly. By the way, the Grove is always having these sorts of problems, and it's usually coming from the gay community itself.
You can't drive the wrong way down a one-way street forever.
