A solar flare is shaped much as the first Atomic bombs dropped over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. A finger-like structure with a mushroom at the head. Hydrogen bombs have a stumpy mushroom head that appears more like a dome.

Metal alloys are comprised of mixtures of metal. In molten state these mixtures are called eutectics which have a very high surface tension.
