This guy is twisting and squirming now that he's in danger of getting sacked from his job in local government, but his initial reaction was from the heart.

Here is what Steve Cody, councilman in Palmetto Bay, Florida said:

He deleted his post and then tried to weasel out of it:
But his initial statement was spoken from the heart and is how he feels. Also, if you are angry at gun violence you don't blame the victim. Plenty of time later to point out Kirk was a proponent of gun rights. The fact that this creep jumped on that immediately shows he cares for nothing but the power of his party.
How did we ever get such self-seeking scoundrels, so many people with no love or kindness or decency in them, into positions of power? Granted this guy isn't a big wig in the Democratic Party, but he shows what many of the rank-and-file think. He's not a kid, nor an Antifa guy. An adult should know better.
I wonder how many more like him are out there. I hope Scott Rasmussen is working on a poll right now to determine what Democrats think about this murder. It could be very eye opening.

Its because of people like this that more democrats are distancing themselves from the party of hate. I would like to see a poll of dems who have flipped because of it.

Well, Mike, I would question how many of them could be believed if Rasmussen were to poll them. My view is that if a Democrat is talking or writing, he's lying, so just ignore him.

True enough Dana but Mike isn't wrong either; the young and those who thought Democrats were the better people becausethey heard the lies about Trump may well flip. A lot of labor Democrats may decide enough is enough.
