There IS no metric that can show Education in America has improved. In... any... area... since the Feds took over in 1980.
As in all living organisms, reproduction and expansion.

The feds took over the educational system specifically TO ruin it. The educational system has been infiltrated more and more by socialists and communists since the 1930s, starting with John Dewey and the members of the Frankfurt School. They knew that the way to destroy a country was thru media and the schools. They were very patient, and thanks to the ignorance, stupidity, and self righteousness of the American liberal we are now seeing the results of their hard work.
