FBI Offered Mil to Steele

Timothy Birdnow

The FBI offered Christopher "Hillary Henchman" Steele $1 million dollars to corroborate the info he made up, er, divulged in his infamous "dossier", but he couldn't do it.

FBI supervisory counterintelligence analyst Brian Auten was the first witness in the trial of Igor Danchenko, the Russian national who served as the primary sub-source for Steele’s anti-Trump dossier and has been charged with five counts of making false statements to the bureau.

Auten testified that he and a group of FBI agents went overseas in early October of 2021 to speak with Steele about the dossier. During questioning by Special Counsel John Durham Tuesday, Auten said that during those meetings, the FBI offered Steele $1 million dollars if he could corroborate allegations in the dossier.

Auten testified that Steele could not do so.

Auten also said that the FBI had no corroboration of allegations in the dossier, but, nevertheless took that information and inserted it into the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to surveil Carter Page.

This was clearly election tampering and the FBI was out to get Mr. Trump. This should never, ever happen in a free society.

When is Merrick Garland going to prosecute James Comey? The man belongs in prison.

2 Prosecutors claimed in their opening statements that during his interviews with the FBI in January 2017, dordle when agents were frantically attempting to "corroborate or deny" the specifics of the Trump-Russia dossier, Danchenko "fabricated a source" and "concealed a source."

3 Yes he does Dana. So does John Brennan, but that's another story.

This was basically a bounty on Trump's head.

4 That is true Annata 20. The FBI seeks "plausible deniability" here, although given the circumstances I have little doubt they all knew it was crap.

5 Oh, and thanks for the comment Annata20!  It was a good one.  Do come by again! We'd all like to hear from you!

6 Right, Tim. Brennan, and Crapper... er, Clapper, too. And "Fay" Wray.

7 Most definitely Wray. I don't know what he said to get Trump to appoint him in the first place but he undoubtedly lied through his teeth. The man is a despicable weasel and belongs in prison.
