Wray completely flipped after assuming the post of Directtor of the FBI. I wonder; did they have material they were using to blackmail him? I think it entirelyp ossible. Wray went from hero to zero in record time, immediately biting the hand of his boss.

Yes, Kash Patel needs to step up his job as reformer, but it's very possible his hands are full. There's a lot of clean-up to be done in that agency, as we know: "Fay" Wray left a tremendous amount of garbage. The place was similar to the Augean Stables when he was finally bounced.
