Fake Energy Scheme in W. Va.

I didn't know there WAS coal loss in W. Virginia, as the Chinese and others have been buying coal at a record rate, even while we continue playing these games with pinwheels and beams of light.

So, are we going to waive environmental regulations to allow these batteries to be made here? Right now we don't make them because they are very dirty.
And where is the lithium going to come from? The Chinese cornered the market on this.
No, this is a red herring to make it look like something is being done for the miners and the rust belt states. But it's all smoke and mirrors (hey, I wonder if we can generate energy from smoke and mirrors?)

I think you've got it right, Tim. But I like the idea of making energy from smoke and mirrors -- it can't be any worse than making it from wind and solar.
