Now Facebook, after having encouraged me to vote in Virginia despite my profile stating clearly I live in Missouri, is trying to get me to sign up to be an election judge there.
Here is the message on my page:
Timothy, Become an Election Poll Worker in Virginia
Become a poll worker to help people in your community vote in person.
Well, I'd love to oblige them, but they wouldn't like that. This is despicable.

I wonder what happens if you respond to that click bait. I have the same ad, but for California, on my Facebook page. My next door neighbor is a poll worker, and a) California does not recruit its poll workers in this manner, and b) California currently has sufficient poll workers in most counties because the state has reduced the number of polls by 20% for the primaries and another 20% for the general election.

Could very well be a scam. If you want to try to unmask it, do NOT follow the link but type the link into your browser instead. This is the advice Kim Komando gives all the time.

Bill, CA has reduced it's polls by 20l%?! I hadn't heard that! Here we are with them telling us we need more access to the polls and they are cutting them back! Why aren't the Republicans making a stink about that?

Probably good advice, although I wouldn't think you'd get malware from Facebook, but you never know.
I see it as a sign Facebook is trying to recruit vote thieves.
