Here is what Europe faces after decades of denial & subterfuge. Lesson - let's get on with building 250 new nuclear reactors. There are already 440 operating in the world and harming no-one. 1.6 million people die in road accidents every year. Nukes kill no-one today. H/T Patrick Moore

Tim adds:
That's because they could rely on the U.S. to take care of them. It was learned dependency. Now they realize they are going to have to be adults and step up. These games they could indulge in have cost them dearly and what America was peddling to them has failed.
So now they have no choice but to find a rational approach to their energy needs. "Green" tech doesn't work, and Ukraine shows they can't depend on Russian oil and gas lest they be hostages to the Russian Bear.
I would call this graduation day. Or Bar Mitzvah.
In Fiddler on the Roof there is a song "God made a man today". Fits this situation.
Oh, and here is perhaps another reason why there is a drumbeat for war with Russia. The Russians and Chinese are rejecting the dollar in favor of their own currency to buy oil. This messes up the plans of the New World Order something awful (and could lead to economic doomsday for the U.S., meaning for the whole rotten world.)

BTW Tim heres a counter point to the new world order Putin is messing up. Seems he is on the inside or his contacts are: https://thenewamerican.com/putin-the-deep-state-and-the-new-world-order-in-ukraine-war/ . I was really interested in how Putin tries to draw the similarities between communism and Christianity. Thats quite a stretch.

That Communism/Christianity connection is a common speculation in Russia. I've seen that argument in Russian journals and newspapers before. It IS quite a stretch.
