Except East Antarctica isn't melting.
A 30-Year Study Reveals a Hidden Climate Driver Heating Antarctica’s Core
You will note that this says the alleged warming is being driven by Indian Ocean water being driven down to Antarctica, which has nothing to do with carbon-dioxide driven climate change but rather with changes in ocean currents, likely driven by Milankovitch cycles. (Milankovitch cycles are changes in the axial tilt and procession of the Earth in it's orbit. While usually lasting for geological epochs there is every reason to suspect short term changes driven by gravitational effects both inside the solar system and in the part of the galaxy we are currently inhabiting. Magnetic effects too.)
Old weather stations (whose accuracy one must doubt after decades in the harsh environment) suggest that temperature has increased at a rate of 0.45-0.72°C per decade. Considering the average temperature of East Antarctica is dozens of degrees below zero one need not panic. East Antarctica is as cold as Mars, or almost anyway.
And none of this is included in current climate models.
The article states:
Current climate models do not capture this warming process, so future projections of temperature for Antarctica may be underestimated. "While interior regions show rapid warming, coastal stations have not yet experienced statistically significant warming trends,” Professor Naoyuki Kurita from the Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research at Nagoya University said.

That's because coastal areas are moderated by ocean temperatures, which the circumpolar current keeps cold by blocking the warm water from the Indian ocean. What arrives is warm air, which naturally hits the big ice cap and not the relatively low-lying coast.
At any rate this is another attempt to blame carbon dioxide for every bad thing, but it fails in the end because natural explanations make just as much sense. But then, just abouteverything bad is caused by global warming, don't you know!
BTW if East Antarctica is getting so warm why is it that it's ice sheet is growing? Strange behavior for a warming ice sheet.
