Democrats: You can't force someone not to have an abortion or do all the illegal drugs they want, and healthcare is a human right. It's their body and their choice, man.
Also Democrats: You should be forced to take the COVID vaccine and you should be denied medical care if you don't.

That’s one of those "truisms†that sounds nice on the face of it, but examined by the slimmest trace of logical thinking breaks down in less than a heartbeat.
Health care is a service, performed by people who have been trained to perform that service, and who are performing it as a means of earning a living in order to house and provide food and other necessaries for themselves and their families. In many cases the training they have undertaken to provide these services has taken many years and has cost the practitioner many thousands of dollars.
What entitles anyone to receive the services provided by these people as a matter of "human right?â€
In fact, until fairly recently in human history there was no "health care†in any widespread or systematic manner. The vast majority of humans, those who had "human rights†at the time, had no access whatever to health care in any form. How can there be a "human right†to something which, for all practical purposes, societal did not exist just a few hundred years ago?
Suppose a doctor decides not to be a doctor any more and closes his practice. Under the theory that "health care is a human right,†can he be prosecuted for denying his former patients their "human right†to health care because he quit treating them?
The left keeps making up these neat slogans and saying which sound good but defy logic. The latest is that we are on a campaign to "protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated,†which could be true only if one admitted if the vaccine itself is not doing so, in which case it still would not be true. Think about it.
