DeWine Cancels Elections

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine used to be considered a conservative. But he has been a huge disappointment since becoming governor. He promoted a 65% energy tax increase in the Buckeye State. He is an an enemy of the 2nd Amendment and has been since his days in the Senate. He chaired John McCain's election campaign. Nuff said?
So now RINO DeWine is canceling elections.
Here is his proclamation:
Rush Limbaugh has been saying for some time that the goal of the DemoLeft and Establishment in this country is to get rid of elections. This Wuhan virus can serve that purpose nicely, it seems to me.
There still aren't even a quarter of a million infections worldwide. But by all means, let's end the American franchise over this.

During this time when we face an unprecedented public health crisis, to
conduct an election tomorrow would force poll workers and voters to
place themselves at an unacceptable health risk of contracting
coronavirus. As such, Health Director Dr. Amy Acton will order the
polls closed as a health emergency. While the polls will be closed
tomorrow, Secretary of State Frank LaRose will seek a remedy through
the courts to extend voting options so that every voter who wants to
vote will be granted that opportunity.

Does this mean the Donkey Party will get to appoint their candidates instead of letting their great unwashed followers vote for them? If memory serves, that's rather like going back to the smoke-filled rooms of yesteryear, when the candidates were chosen by the delegates. True, the delegate count is what chooses them now, but these days they go through the show of having the voters cast ballots to "pick" the candidates, then the number of delegates is picked from those totals.
I'm going out on a limb here and saying that the party will do anything to keep Karl Marx off November's ballot, and that they also would prefer just about anybody else but Quid-Pro-Joe. And if COVID-19 is their excuse, they'll take it.

I agree Dana. This virus was tailor made for them - in every way imaginable. It does NOTHING but help the Democrats.
