Dem Lawmaker: We'll Honor the Results (As Long as We Win)

Timothy Birdnow

Democrat Jamie Raskin says the Dems will honor the election results as long as they are "free and fair".

What that means is as long as they go to the Democrats. In their minds they are the ones with the right to rule, a modern "divine right of kings" theory. So if they lose they will challenge the results. BUT if the GOP loses and challenges they are "insurrectionists" because it should be obvious that the Democrats have every right to rule, even if the public does not agree.

The Maryland Rep said they would not allow the Republicans to "steal" the election in an astonishing utterance of pure chutzpah; the Republicans have NEVER stolen an election, not since Roosevelt, and Raskin knows it. In fact, there was a Texas Republican back in 2004 who sent out notices claiming the date of the election was changed to black people and the resultant lawsuit (and that was entirely right and proper) led to a plea agreement where the entire Republican Party agreed to never challenge cases of vote fraud. That went on for forty years, with Democrats systematically stealing seats and building a political machine to give them eternal power. Trump pulled us out of that in 2918, which is why the '20 election was contested for the first time since Nixon lost to Kennedy in 1960 (Nixon gave up "for the good of the country" after his RINO advisers told him "they stole it fair and square".)

It's always projection with these people; they know that they are intending to steal this, and they will point to any loss as proof the GOP stole the election. They will not accept the results unless there is a titanic landslide.

We know there are already multiple cases of Democrat election tampering/vote fraud/voter suppression and this will metastasize tomorrow as they desperately stuff ballot boxes, find ballots in junk yards and under construction sites, etc.

I didn't quite get the reason why the GOP was pushing early voting this time. I thought it was just a case of the Republicans thinking they had found a basic principle, because it worked for the Democrats in 2020. But that presupposed a fair media to report it, and the media would simply ignore all cases of fraud as they did in '20. But now I see the GOP was right; this allows the Republicans to watch this election more closely and to take immediate action. They were overwhelmed and understaffed in 2020. With a lot of Republican votes in early the Democrats will have to really surge their fraud to make up the deficit and they will more easily be caught - and stopped.

And if the fraud is better documented GOP Secretaries of State will be justified in not certifying the bogus results. Last time so many of the GOP were afraid to do that because they feared being wrong. Now we'll have the smoking gun proof.

At any rate I wonder if the media will call the inevitable riots against a Trump victory an insurrection? Raskin won't; he'll call it a case of righteous indignation.
