Covering Biden

The Biden Administration took great pains to hide Joe's imploding mental health.
Everything from controlling Biden's schedule to adjusting the lighting in his appearances to make him appear more robust were implemented by his people to gaslight America.
Apparently the country was being run by Biden's advisers - the so-called "Biden Whisperer" who set policy and handled the affairs of state. Biden was merely a figurehead.
But we already knew that.
Still, I wonder if this isn't a case of gaslighting itself. Biden is facing potential criminal charges when he gets out of office over decades of dirty dealings. And we all remember Robert Hur choosing not to prosecute Biden over his stealing classified documents when he had no right to possess them (unlike Trump who, as President, could have whatever documents he wanted) because he was Veep and before that just a Senator. So is this a way to try to minimize Biden's legal jeopardy? I've theorized that Biden played the senile old man for just this purpose in times gone by. Now perhaps he's getting a little help from his friends.
The Wall Street Journal has a conservative editorial board but was declared to be the most LIBERAL major news source a number of years back by a study from UCLA. It is more liberal than the New York Times in it's news coverage.
A poll conducted a few years ago agreed with this assessment.
So is Joe innocent by way of mental unfitness? Or is he just slithering out of the mess he's made? If the latter he needs to compensate the victims, which includes ALL of us! As ye steal so shall ye weep!

Any way you slice the salami, Joe was a lousy senator and kept getting re-elected solely on the basis of being in a dinky (OK, I'll be charitable and say "very small") state where the talent pool was shallow, plus he was able to con a lot of people. Getting picked as the Vice-President to a lousy President was as much luck as anything else, when the Republicans chose a lousy Presidential candidate; and don't forget, Joe was picked as Hussein's impeachment protection more than anything else. After two terms of Hussein, Joe was a shoe-in because they duped the American people that he would be a moderate -- oh, yes, a gentleman too -- though he was and is neither.
It looks like the voters have awakened from their Rip Van Winkle act at last -- they sent the Cacklebunny packing, at least.

I agree Dana. Biden was put in the Senate when he was actually too young to serve (but he turned thirty just before inauguration) and he was there ever-after, largely because the labor unions backed him (he was corrupt and crooked - their kind of guy. No doubt they bribed him.)
Obi Bam Balogna chose him because he provided a link to the old guard/swamp and provided him with a dupe. And, as you say, the Donkeys chose him because he could be spun to be a moderate, something he was not and never was, and a gentleman, something equally untrue (remember the lynch mob he led against Clarence Thomas?)
Biden is proof mediocrity flourishes in our government and that you can go far if you fail.
Biden reminds me of the general in the movie Mars Attacks who calls his wife and says "I told you good things would happen if I kept my head down and remained unnoticed!"
