The more power "you give" to Government the "more corrupt" it will become! It's a Fact!!!
Here is an example from my life experience.
I earned a job as a Project Manager on a START II, Arms Reduction Act Project in Russia.
I had experience working on these kinds of projects in Ukraine the year before. The man who hired me was the president of a brand new company.
He was a University of Georgia Graduate, that landed an internship as a Page for Senator Sam Nunn, Democrat from GA, and he learned the ins and outs of government contracts, while working for the Senator.
With help from the Senator, and I am sure they both started out with good intentions.
They applied for an Arms Reduction Act Project, that the Senator co-authored. It was written and sponsored by the Senator Nunn and Senator Lugar.
The power of easy money is too enticing and easily corrupts good people.
So my new boss, after learning how to manipulate the system. Invented a new Construction Company out of thin air and bid on a multi million dollar project.
There was no risk to him with a taxpayer cost plus contract, and the Senator would get consulting fees and keep the appropriation committee feeding funds to the project and keep the consultants fees coming.
The phony construction company would do everything in it's control to fulfill the project, but the longer it took to complete, the more money it would make.
The Russians would ask for and receive extra funding for unforeseen costs and they re negotiated the contract throughout the life of the project.
In the end the contract was two years over schedule and five times the original cost projection.
The Russians received three new factories furnished with western technology, equipment and training to build better weapons than the ones we destroyed.
It made all Americans feel proud that we were doing SOMETHING to deter a nuclear war. It was a lie and Americans were told we made the world safer. In reality, we paid for the demolition of outdated Soviet weapons and refurbished the weapons facilities to make better weapons.
It was a Media manufactured False sense of security.
Everyone got rich, except the American Taxpayer, who got fleeced again!
As an example. The first rocket we pulled out of a silo in Ukraine, to be destroyed, was in 1995. The Russian installed Factory Director of a Ukrainian factory, closed the gates and demanded an additional $5 million.
Our Secretary of Defense, William Perry called President Clinton and asked what he should do. They were being broadcast on TV in front of the world, being embarrassed!
Bill said, give the Director the money.
It is better to look good in front of the press than to look like the fools we are!
After that day, the Russian Factory Director closed the gates to our Joint Venture factory every month to re-negotiate!
Here is a bullshit story by the AP press that accompanied Perry on that feel-good tour.

Less Government means more control of our own destiny and less chance of tyranny in the form of an abusive Government!
Government is just a propaganda machine. They lie to make you feel good about the money they rob from you!

How many people listen to the lies and propaganda being broadcast as the rewritten history of the Great Socialist Governments of the World? Russia, China and the Democrat in America are world leaders in disinformation and division!
