3 Becky this is as political a prosecution as any in any Third World hellhole. Donald Trump was covered by the Presidential Records Act. The prosecution  indicted him for espionage, not violating the records act - which he did not. They have no foreign power to claim Mr. Trump was preparing to sell our secrets to, I might add. The intimation is it was Russia because they had spent four years trying to claim Mr. Trump was a foreign asset - and it has since been proven this claim was a series of lies going ultimately back to Hillary Clinton. But they are going to try to use that here to accuse Mr. Trump of espionage.

By the Presidential Records Act Trump had the authority to hold those records.

But you know who didn't? Joe Biden. Biden had records from when he was Veep, and even a Senator. He had zero right to those records, yet he's not being prosecuted.

Donald Trump isn't a stupid man. He's survived this long by not making stupid mistakes. He has lawyers. They told him, no doubt, that this was acceptable.

And why would Trump do this anyway?  Wouldn't he have made copies of the documents and then sent them back? I mean, how hard is that? He could have scanned them and been done with it.

He didn't need the physical copies if he were selling them to foreign actors.

This whole thing stinks beyond words. It is an attempt to manipulate the American elections next year. The prosecutor needs to be impeached by the House.
