Well, I learned how to shoot a rifle at summer camp. It led eventually to me qualifying expert at Navy boot camp.

The times, they are a-changin' Bill. I doubt that is what they have in mind for these new camps. I know my daughter won't offer up her son to a camp like this!

I learned riflery at the Boy Scout summer camp too Bill, along with archery (I won the camp archery contest, despite never having drawn a bow before - brag! brag!) I remember the stuff you did - learning how to boat, swim, build fires, tie knots, etc. Great experience for kids.
