The Left lost its bearings when the Soviet Union collapsed and socialism gave way to neoliberal privatizations.

The moral fury of the leftwing movement had to go somewhere, and it found its home in Identity Politics in which the white heterosexual male takes the place of the capitalist, and his victim groups—blacks, women, homosexuals, illegal immigrants—take the place of the working class.

The people who hate us hate us because THEY are white supremacists and we are not. We are merely scientists trying to solve the problem of the age with political and economic solutions that allow us to help one another in markets without hating each other in politics, and without causing another dark age, as the underclasses led by women's emotions, destroy our civilization like they have the Romans, Byzantines, Persians, Egyptians, North Africans, and northwest Indians. Those civilizations are dead. And they were made dead by the same means: shouting down the truth, destroying monuments, and undermining traditions.

Tim adds:

From the so-called Romantic era there has been a war against Reason, which is now deemed a white patriarchal oppressor. Reason has given way to irrationality and emotionalism and the end result is a splintering of culture as we divide along multiple lines - ethnic, social, religious, etc. It's what has destroyed many nations over the centuries. When a nation stops believing in it's own virtues it dies. Certainly Western Civilization is at that point.
