The Gang Green is now claiming we just had the hottest day in a thousand years.
I don't know where they were looking; here in Missouri it was a cold week in July, more like a day in early October.

From a study I just made up the hottest day of the year can be directly linked to the instantaneous self combustion of electric vehicles and their charging stations.

Makes sense to me, Mike. Those EV batteries burn hot as hell, and are awfully hard to extinguish. As we know from a lot of studies and articles.

Yeah Mike; those are probably the cause. I would ask to see the details of your study but then I know you probably don't have any more than this folks have.

Oh, by the way... my wife just joined the board of our HOA, and one thing she's going to do is be talking to insurance agents about... insurance, of course. I am going to "put a bug in her ear" about will insurance companies be hiking homeowner insurance costs if those homeowners buy electric vehicles?
And said wife and I are going to be dining with our insurance agent and others in a couple weeks, and I hope to be able to put the question to him and see if he is "up" on the subject. I may be poking a hornet's nest...
