Civilizational Munchausen by Proxy

Western civilization is sick - very sick indeed. Having rejected it's Judeo-Christian roots it is now a rootless, restless, ratsnest of the civilizationally insane. We see it in all aspects of life these days, be it the sexual depravity and deviance, the unwillingness to accept reality (such as the transgender nonsense), in the revolutions in the family and radical feminism and the obstinate belief in government as god and faith in the thievery of socialism.

Only a mentally ill society can explain Joe Biden having approval numbers in the forties.

And as the last filthy drop of our civilization waters swirls round the drain, the environmentalist religious movement seems to be gaining ascendancy. And that is what it is; a religious movement. There is a goddess named Gaia. There is a creation myth, a fall (industrialism) and the promise of redemption (if you accept carbon credits and support "green" alternative energy.) There will be an apocalypse should Mankind refuse to bow our collective knee to the green goddess. And there is a church Inquisition in the form of the Gang Green - the zealous environmentalist rebels like Earthfirst! or Extinction Rebellion.

But it is all madness, most of which centers on a faux crisis known as global warming/climate change/global flatulence.

At any rate, it is more a psychological disorder.

Here is exactly what it resembles:

This is done for a psychological need for attention and a desire for sympathy. And it often leads to disaster for the unfortunate who is the vehicle for this sick person aka a child or whatnot.

Often people with Munchausen by Proxy poison or otherwise sicken the child they are using.

That is exactly like the modern Gang Green and those pushing the doomsday scenario of climate change. They are projecting their own psychological illness onto the whole world, demanding we pay attention to them and reorder our civilization in order to "save the planet" - a planet not in any need of saving. In the process they try to sicken the Earth as much as possible.

Take the fires that burned around the globe in recent years, in Brazil, in Africa, in Australia and California. It has been shown they were set by people on purpose in many instances. Those people wanted to have dangerous conflagrations solely for the purpose of providing "evidence" that global warming was real and going to kill us all.

Also, terrible policy was employed in forest management. Deadwood was not allowed to be removed, for instance, making the forest tinder boxes. The naturel result is wildfires. They were common in the old days.

There are numerous other examples I could cite. The drought in California is largely a function of population growth and the refusal to store more water by the environmentalists, who want it to protect tadopoles and the like. Then, when there isn't enough water they say "aha!" and blame it on "climate change" when in fact it's an entirely normal cycle they refused to plan around.

What we now have is civilizational Munchausens. A large swath of our population lives vicariously - and wraps it's identity up with - the fake news of our planet being ill. The Earth does not "have a fever" as is often claimed; we are in a normal warming cycle. But try explaining that to these people.

(Notice too how they use anthropomorphic phrases like "fever" about the Earth, which is basically a big bunch of rocks and water and gases floating around in space.)

The anthropomorphizing of "the Planet" is reminiscent of the old nature worship and nature gods. Baal comes to mind. And this worship of Gaiai is esentially the old paganism of yore.

Ashas been attributed to G.K. Chesterton, when you stop believing in God you will believe in anything. Our society stopped believing in the Judeo-Christian God a while back now, or at best maintains a lukewarm residual belief, being bedazzled by the miracles, nay, sorcery of modern technology, and believing in the god that can grant all our wishes - the great almighty government, blessed be it's name!  Government can make money out of thin air. Government can make people do things. Government can marshall dazzling, astounding powers against an enemy or a disobedient citizen. Government holds the power of life and death - death, as it can kill you if you disobey, life as it can grant you health care and food and other things needed.

So our Western world has fallen under the evil spell of a false god, and the sickenesses which enthrall us are myriad. Like King Arthur, we are trapped in a kind of emotional stupor while the Mordreds and Morganas run amoke, with fire and blood and dark magic, wrecking our culture and we are enchanted into a near coma, unable to muster the will to resist.

When it was too late Arthur mustered the will to resist. I fear it may be becoming too late for us.

At any rate, we live in a world run by dark magic, with technology replacing the eye of newt and liver of muskrat and whatnot.

It is this insane world, this neopagan empire, that has adopted the environmentalism that is claiming doomsday from a trace gas. And it is this claim where the insane neopagans, their own internal minds shattered and splintered, that is the root of the civilizational Munchausen's by Proxy, believing the Earth is in some sort of peril from US.

The Earth may be in peril but not from us, at least not directly.(From a Christian perspective the Earth IS in peril, from our sins which are translated into the world at large, but that is a different issue altogether.)

Witchcraft is the modern sin. Modern society does not believe in a concrete reality, but thinks reality is malleable depending on one's viewpoint Remember Star Wars; the Return of the Jedi where the dead Obi Wan Kenobi tells Luke Skywalker "many of the truths we cling to depend on our own viewpoint."  This mirrors modern thinking exactly, but it isn't true. Our truths are but a poorly seen vision of eternal truths, the real reality which we see through a glass darkly. God, dear friends, is the definition of Truth. We are not. This modern idea is the sin of Lucifer, who chose to make himself the measure of all things. It is the sin of Lucifer that dominates modern thinking.

Insanity is the end result. And we are projecting that insanity onto the entire Earth.

Doubt that claim? Well, why else would we try to claim there are not just two sexes - something well understood for our entire history and entirely supportable by science - but multiple sexes, a sex for every whim?  We are rejecting reality in favor of a private reality. Sorry but that won't wash. As writer Phillip K. Dick said, reality is that thing which, when you stop believing in it, won't go away. He was right. Reality is independent of you, and always will be. Refusing to accept reality is the very definition of insanity.

And not content with mutilating our own minds and souls we now project it onto the inanimate planet on which we live. We have made a goddess of the Earth and made gods of oruselves, and now think in our arrogance we must protect the Earth. The Earth needs no protection. It was here long before us and will be here long after us. And it won't shed a tear for us; it can't. It's an INANIMATE OBJECT!

Until we as a People repent of our sorcery and formications our world will continue to decline. Whether any remnant will remain is a good question. I sincerely hope so.

What we need most is the Great Physician. What we seek is validation. I fear we are too far gone as a civilization to survive.
