From the CDC WTF department: The CDC now says that children in classrooms do not have to be 6 feet apart as they previously stated. "We don't really have the evidence that 6 feet is required in order to maintain low spread." They now claim that 3 feet apart is adequate. The new guidelines also remove requirements for plastic shields and other barriers between desks. "We don't have a lot of evidence of their effectiveness."

California truly should be sawed off North America and allowed to float away. Maybe we can carve the extreme north and south of the state off and keep it here Along with the empire area, Bill, but I say everything from L.A. to Napa should go the way of Atlantis.
