They are the best heavy equipment manufacturer in the entire world. But it’s only Peoria and who cares about downstate concerns anyway?
They already stopped building any new manufacturing here - if you were paying attention. This was predictable and avoidable

Democrats don't care -- they don't even think about this kind of thing. But I'm sure Caterpillar pays a lot in taxes, that will no longer be coming into the state's coffers.

No question Dana, and when the tax revenues decline they will raise taxes further on everyone who remains behind - spurring even more companies to flee.

Yes, they will, unless they think they can pass a law that makes it illegal for a company to move. Good luck with THAT!

These blue states will undoubtedly try to do that at some point. It is how serfdom was born in the early Middle Ages (although that was over individuals and not companies.)
