Frightening! I notice the currency figures were in Euros, so I assume this is happening "across the pond." But it'll probably happen here too. What a waste -- what a total waste!

This is just another example of policymakers ignoring the consequences of their policies. Seems like we're over-run by that every time the Donkeys are in power.

I think they want this to drive up prices and reduce electric supply. The Left wants to strangle our energy usage and force us to live on less and less - and subsequently to reduce our fertility. It's a way to compel population decline, methinks.
