Canned Spam

Due to a deluge of spam comments I have turned up the junk threshold. Hopefully it won't affect any real comments, but I have to take some action. If I miss any regulars after a couple of days I'll jimmy the settings. Please check back if you can't get your comment posted.

2 Good idea! Way too many ads for pain-killing drugs. I should try entering an ad for Jim Beam and see if it sticks.

5 To tell the truth, I can't remember the last time I ate Spam -- if indeed ever. Were I to generate a recipe using it, it would be purely theoretical, because it wouldn't be something I'd actually waste ingredients on, or serve to myself, my wife, or any guests in my home. I know there are people who eat the stuff, because I see it on supermarket shelves. But there are also people who eat lutefisk.

6 I've never had Spam. I know it looks pretty icky and is made from horses hooves (so I've been told).
