1 Is this a matter of Biden feeding the crocodile hoping to be eaten last, do you suppose? Or is this a terribly mistaken effort to look "even-handed," in a situation where it is impossible to be so (shades of Woodrow Wilson)? No matter which it is, I wish there were a way that we could demand, and get, our tax money back!

2 I suspect the latter, Dana. I suspect there has always been a big war profit machine that has wanted war in the Middle East and they are back to make their money - and it helps drive the "peace process" which empowers the U.N.  I don't think Biden personally thinks much about it one way or another, but that those in running him  do ponder this and want it to be so.

It's heartbreaking because under Trump the Middle East was pretty quiet and peaceful - and we threw that away to put the people who messed it up back in power.
