Now ceiling fans reduce our carbon footprint. They help to reduce our time using air conditioning in summer, and allow us to move hot air from the ceiling and thus keep the home warmer in winter.

So what is this jackass's rationale here? If you ask me it is nothinng but a desire to make Americans suffer.
