surprise, surprise. NOT.
Pamela Geller reports...
A note from Tim: It looks like she was a Baha'i. They are monists very similar to the Theosophism of Helena Blavatsky, which was the foundational belief of the top brass of the Nazi Party (except perhaps Hitler) and it should be pointed out the Theosophists celebrated the Aryan (Iranian) People and used their symbols (swastika, lightning bolt ss) as their own. Both were founded in the Nineteenth century and doubless have the same roots. It should be pointed out that Baha'i are very much like modern campus leftists, being in favor of world government, feminism, environmentalism, animal rights, and all of the other fond dreams of the uber Left.
Here is their website.
Monism, by the way, is a belief in the untiy of all things, particularly all religious beliefs. All faiths provide a part of the whole of God, they believe. Our job on Earth is to perfect it - just as most Progressives believe.
So basically she was a left wing Nazi fellow traveller who probably hated capitalism as well. Is it any surprise?
A Note from Dana Mathewson
I suppose the police response will be something on the order of "we don't have the manpower to check on every such warning we receive." And it's undoubtedly true. How many police departments are increasingly starved for funds, especially in the Age of Obama or the aftermath thereof, where it will take quite awhile to get back up to strength? We don't know how many such warnings they receive, after all. Ditto FIB, after all the crap on the Parkland shooter. The ones that get through are the ones that create the bad publicity.
As far as being a vegan, I think it takes a certain amount of insanity to become one in the first place.
And more from Jack:
The pity is that the police didn't heed family warnings and other people were wounded. The good news is that the Iranian psycho is dead. Did you think she would ever become sane, even if she was sentto the Menninger Clinic for 20 years? She was a vegam - and other vegans claim meat makes people violent. I think that argument just lost all its credibility.
There are reports online that say her father and brother warned police in advance. Her brother said to police that she had traveled to San Bruno (near San Fran's airport) and thought she might do something at Youtube.
