A high-order Iranian cleric just issued a fatwah against Donald Trump, calling him an "enemy of God" and calling for his assassination.
Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi of the Iranian holy city of Qom issued this edict in the wake of President Trump's bombing of Iranians nuclear weapons facilities and his threats against Ayatollah Khamenei and other Shiite leaders. Being classed an "enemy of God" means said person is subject to the death penalty.
The assassination attempt on President Trump in Pennsylvania may well have been plotted by the Iranians, I might add, so it's not like this is anything new.
Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi issued his fatwah ostensibly in response to requests by "believers".
You know, Shirazi doesn't quite realize that Mr. Trump can issue his own fatwah, and he's got a much longer reach than does the 6th century rag-headed cleric. It's not wise to pick a fight when you will lose.
I guess this guy thinks that dude who fell down the well will climb back up just to kill President Trump. (The 12th Imam). Good luck with that!

BTW, I'm not going to hold my breath until the Crown Prince gets crowned. I'm not sure he's hugely popular among the citizens of Iran, and neither was his father. Yes, they were both better-liked than the mullahs, but that's not saying a lot.

I heard an expert on a show on Salem News (can't remember who) who said the exiled prince isn't coming back. I don't know; if he does he has to come back as a constitutional monarch, like in England. I doubt the Iranians would tolerate a return to the authoritarian style of monarchy they used to have.
I don't know if Trump is right or not in his holding back Israel from taking out Khamanei. On the one hand it would demoralize an already very demoralized government. But on the other it makes him a martyr. It may be better to let the man die naturally and then enjoy the war for control of the country that follows.
As it is, Trump can strangle them economically now. Israel has humiliated them militarily, as have we, and if we should send a few bucks and weapons to rebel groups inside Iran they might just kick these Mullahs out. We did that before, notably in the late fifties when the CIA fomented a revolution against a radically leftist government that had taken power and reinstalled the Shah.
Any way you look at it this is an historic moment in history and, if handled correctly, we could see a major realignment in the region and by extension the world.
If we don't let Democrats and Deep State RINO internationalists screw it up.

As for them getting them from Pakistan I suspect not; Pakistan is 90% Sunni and I rather suspect they detest the Shia Iranians. It was bad enough for Iran and Pakistan to bomb each-other last year, in fact.
Of course the Pakistani may give schematics to building a nuclear bomb but Iran doesn't need that; that's the easy part when building a bomb. Iran had been working on an implosion trigger to reduce the weight of it's nuclear weapons so it could be used on missiles, which says they have the relatively simple gun-style trigger employed by Pakistan (and used in Fat Man). Unless Pakistan gives them enriched uranium or plutonium they won't really have much to offer, and I suspect they aren't going to give out such material when they may want it for themselves in case of war with India. Especially to a country that they almost went to war with last year.
